OBSERVATIONS RELATING TO COMMON SENSE

Most people delude themselves in believing they have more common sense than others. Most people delude themselves in believing they intuitively know what is and is not common sense.

Common sense is not the same as common belief.

We can all improve our Common Sense. And the more we genuinely try to, the more we will.

The more common sense you have: the better you will understand how the world really works; the more likely you will be to get things right and avoid mistakes; the better the judgements you make will be; the better you will understand the weaknesses in what you hear and read; the better you will get on with people; and generally the more effective and the less frustrated you will be in interacting with the world.
